Illinois College race for cross country results in several PR'sPublished by
Jacksonville, ILL. -- The men's and women's cross country teams raced close to home at Illinois College for this Homecoming weekend. The men's team came in 5th overall for their 8K and the women came in 6th place overall. Senior women Kyla Pelletier and Shontee Pant ran together and came in 13th and 14th place. Their times were separated by a fraction of a second at 24:59.5 and 24:59.7. Freshman Allegra Pierce set a new personal record at 26:28 for her 6k. Junior Alice Oloo has set a new PR every 6k she has run this season. Today was no different with a 26:28 finish. Sophomore Brie Burns ran a solid race with a 29:12 finish and Hannah LePoidivan and Madison Ouelette ran together with a time of 33:08. For Madison this was a minute and 43 second personal record.
